I’ve been a professional film maker since 1966, in Australia, Britain, Russia, France, South-East Asia and China. Mainly documentaries. There was a 20 year detour into academia, teaching film and educational technology, but that’s all behind me and now I’m back with with my real loves: movies and theatre. And being a grandfather, of course.

Hartbeat Multimedia is my production company, specialising in educational and training media and social documentaries.

The Rude Mechanicals is our guerilla theatre company, producing new works by local playwrights.
